The 2018 EHHS Volleyball team is coached by Craig Brown and Kristina Cudgma. The captains this year, Diana Kalman and Megan Roberts, are leading the team with 4 wins and 2 loses.

This year the volleyball team added a new group of eight freshman and one new sophomore to the team. They are coping with the loss of last years four seniors, Julia SanGiovanni, Jessica Stettinger, Summer Onorato, and Kylie Schlottman.

Diana Kalman says, “As captain this year my goals are to keep everybody's head up and in the games so we can win as many games as possible and have fun while doing it.” Kalman feels that if they all work together and have positive attitudes then they will have a great season.

To get ready for this years season the volleyball team conditioned all summer long. Due to the remodeling of our gym floor the couldnt use it to practice, but they found an alternative and used Tuttle’s gym. The volleyball team practices every day that they don't have a game for two to two and a half hours. This year is going to be a little different from previous years and this is because of the new girls on the varsity team. This means there is a lot of new roles that they are getting used to as a team.

Sophomore Brooke Clancy says, “one of their goals this year is to have a repeat of last year and make it to the states game.”
