Mrs. Tiffany Choi is teaching a new fashion class at EHHS beginning this fall where students are free to do their own thing and learn new fashion trends. In this class, students are introduced to digital illustration of fashion items. At the end of the course, students will be asked to run a small-scale fashion show that will display collections of hand-crafted objects that they have made.
Mrs. Choi decided to teach this class because she has a background in accessories design and would like to give students a variety of elective options. “Fashion is everywhere” said Mrs. Choi. Fashion has a constant presence in a person's life. It is a daily task of choosing what clothing to put on your body for the day, and it is not only used to protect modesty, but it is used for self expression.
In this class you are able to work on fun artistic projects,
“We are working on yarn art and I have to say it is a good stress reliever” said senior Kelly Wysocki. Kelly would recommend taking the class to anyone who likes designing, or creating new art. Pablo who also is in the class says “this class is good for expressing yourself and who you are”. If you like to be hands-on then this is the perfect class for you to take, also it benefits students by having a new way to express themselves through fashion.
